7.1 Basic

The unit of time is second. This parameter is a rough guide.

Maximum layer

The maximum number of image to stack.

The number of layer is selected from one to maximum layer in a random manner. If you want to always use maximum layer, check 'Always use maxumum layer'.

Save generated repeating motifs to file

Generated repeating motifs are saved to a file. The file size is small enough because the data to save is a parameter, not an image.

The file is saved at 'Repeating Motif Saver' folder in your Library folder. The file name is the time when that is saved.

Use 'Repeating Motif Viewer' to open the file. Don't use 'Repeating Motif Generator'. 'Repeating Motif Generator' can not handle the multi layer data now.Use 'Repeating Motif Generator' version 2.0 or later to open the file.

Save marked repeating motif only

Check this option, and you can save your favorite repeating motif only. Hit space key to mark repeating motif that you want to save.

Play sound when marked

Check this option, and you can confirm whether repeating motif is marked or not by audio feedback.

7.2 Master motif

A repeating motif is generated using master motif. A master motif is synthesized from six oscillators. You can specify the range of oscillator parameters.

Perhaps you can understand these parameters after you edit a master motif in the 'Repeating Motif Generator'.
